Programs of the St. Mary’s Outreach Center

In accordance with its mission and working in collaboration with many community partners, the St. Mary's Outreach Center endeavors to:

Respond to the issue of substance abuse in this neighborhood through participation in the Hampden Drug Task Force and in continued program development

Help support and encourage neighborhood youth through a series of events and workshops in partnership with the Hampden Family Center and Episcopal Community Services of Maryland

Provide outreach to seniors in the community through creative programming including luncheons, concerts, classes, and more...in partnership with Action-In-Maturity, the Hampden Family Center, and St. David's Church

Conduct an array of worship services and events that address the spiritual needs of the people of Hampden and surrounding Baltimore community

Action in Maturity (AIM) www.actioninmaturity.org 410.889.7921 The purpose of Action in Maturity is to provide activities and services to improve the quality of life of older people and to support their ability to live independently within the community.	Baltimore Shakespeare Festival www.baltimoreshakespeare.org 410.366.8596 The festival is the region’s home for professional classical theatre and exciting educational programs, like the Teen Performance Program, which brings together talented local high school students with professional artists to produce a Shakespeare play.
Episcopal Housing Corporation www.ehc.ang-md.org 410.366.6200 EHC’s mission is to provide safe and affordable housing and supportive services to people limited by income, economic injustice, and special needs.	Gimmie Shelter Productions 410.435.7167 Mark Colasurdo, the founder of Gimmie Shelter Productions, conceived the World Parliament of Faith, which is a theatrical production piece—both theater and religious service—celebrating the commonality of all faiths and human aspirations.
The Nearly New Shop 410-467-0476 Sponsored by St. David’s Episcopal Church of Roland Park, the Nearly New Shop sells bargain clothing for women and children, books, jewelry, and household goods all at discount prices. The Shops hours of operation are Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-3:30pm and Saturday from 10-1pm.	Union Memorial Volunteer and Senior Services www.unionmemorial.org 410-554.2508 Union Memorial Hospital offers a wide range of classes and events from informational sessions on health and wellness topics to weight training and yoga.
Without Walls Without Walls is a newly-formed umbrella group sponsoring concerts and various styles of post-modern worship in locations throughout Maryland. Without Walls is currently offering a quarterly Saturday evening service featuring a rock band, lots of music, and projected song lyrics with images in St. Mary’s church.
